Tera aasra le ke karta hun kaam;
Mere satguru tujhko lakhon salaam. Tu sakar bhi hai nirankar bhi; Tu hai gurbachan bhi aur avtar bhi. Kisi ki samajh me tu aata nahin; Tere bin koi tujhko pata nahin. Sharan me jo aaye tu leta hai thaam; Nahin puchhta jaat paat aur mukaam. Sharan me teri main hoon aaya hua; Hoon avtar tera banaya hua. |

I seek your support and only then I act;
O' my True Master, I salute to you a million times. You are formless as well as in torm; You are Gurbachan as well as Avtar. None can comprehend you; None can reach you without your blessings. You protect everyone, who seek your refuge; You do not ask the seeker's caste and native place. I too have taken your shelter; Avtar says, I am (Avtar) as you made me so. |
Meaning
Whatever work I do and execute, that is always with your support. Without the support of the True Master, I can't move an inch and I bow down to True Master and salute millions of times. You are in the visible form in the body of True Master and you are formless as well in the form of Lord Master. You are the True Master as well as the Lord Master. You cannot be understood by anyone and no one can get you or find you without your help and blessings. Whoever comes to you for your shelter or to your way, you always make them feel comfortable and protect them without asking for their caste, creed and native place. Baba Avtar Singh ji says that I have come to the shelter of the Lord Master and I am the 'Avtar' made by this Lord Master.
